Garlic Smashed Potatoes

Garlic Smashed Potatoes

Wash thoroughly the amount of potatoes you wish to cook (I used 3 very large baking potatoes restaurant size) If you use over the counter potatoes use 6 extra large potatoes
Cut into large chunks
Put whole cloves of garlic (I used 3 very large whole cloves) into the pot with the potatoes
Boil until tender
Mash with potato masher leaving chunks
Add butter, salt and pepper
Stir in a little milk as needed. You won't need a lot of milk.
You will want to leave these pretty thick and chunky, not smooth.

Delicious!
Served on this day with
Oven Roasted French Rack of Pork

You might want to try
Seasoned Steamed Green Beans

Enjoy!

I'd like to thank my friend Heidi Gonzales of My Simple Country Living for sending a wonderful package of her homemade soap with dish towel and yesterday I received another package.  LIRIO Soap that she uses in making her laundry detergent.  I can't wait to use it!
I'd also like to invite you over to the new Farmgirl Chit-Chat Facebook Page.  It is a closed group so come join us in a very involved group of people.
