Brownie Cheesecake
Just out of the oven below.
Right before baking below
This is so delicious!
INGREDIENTS:
Brownie
7 oz. softened butter
1 1/4 cups sugar
3 eggs
3/4 cup flour sifted with salt
1/8 tsp. salt
Important** Half bag of Ghirardelli Semi-sweet chocolate chips**best flavor
**double boiler for melting chocolate chips**
optional 1/8 cup ground coffee
Cheesecake
18 oz. cream cheese softened
2/3 cup sugar
1 large egg or 2 medium
1 teaspoon vanilla
optional: 1 oz. expresso or strongly brewed coffee
Hershey's Chocolate Syrup for swirling on top **optional but pretty and tasty addition
DIRECTIONS:

Cream butter, beat on medium add sugar continue beating until blended, Slowly add eggs one at a time beating thoroughly.
Heat little water in bottom of double boiler...add chocolate chips to top, stir until just melted. Remove from heat. Meanwhile
Sift flour with salt together add to other ingredients in mixing bowl and blend.
Add melted chocolate chips
Spread in 9 x 13 baking pan
Cheesecake Part:
Beat softened cream cheese on medium
Add sugar
Beat until sugar is blended
Add egg or eggs slowly beating after each
It is alright if batter is a little lumpy
Add vanilla
Optional but adds great flavor....add coffee
Pour evenly over your brownie mix
You can marble the top with the Hershey's Chocolate Syrup
Just pour thin lines of syrup on top and take a toothpick to drag across the lines to make any pattern you would like.
Bake 25 minutes checking the jiggle factor...if need be bake another 5 minutes more check again...
Press the center gently with finger, if it comes back it is done. Color should be light tan not golden brown.
