Product Review: Le Creuset Loaf Baking Pan

Le Creuset Heritage 1lb. Loaf Pan

Carly my daughter gave this to me and  I have used it for years.  I really like it.  Le Creuset is wonderful to cook in. I really wouldn't want to be without this piece.  The stoneware crock quality of it makes things bake up so moist and melt in your mouth delicious.

Banana Cake on the left was baked in the Le Creuset Pan

It baked and rolled over the sides a little bit but that is the shape of the pan.  You can see that in comparison that cake is a little shorter than the one baked at the same time on the right.  The cake on the right was baked in the Williams-Sonoma Goldtouch Loaf Pan.
I didn't set out to compare the two pans just had cake to bake and needed more than one pan.  I can tell you this Both of the cakes were equally delicious Both were equally moist.  The only difference is in how the cakes looked.  If you want a more uniform look to your cake then you see the Williams-Sonoma Pan is for you.  If you want taste and a more relaxed shape Le Creuset is for you.  If you don't have to choose pans then I say you can't go wrong with both!
If you weren't taking the two cakes to the same place at the same time it wouldn't make a difference anyway.

In conclusion my results in the Le Creuset Loaf Pan Product Review are:

  A Big

Recipe for a my delicious Banana Cake here
Would I buy again if something happened to this pan?  You bet I would!  No qualms about it at all.
