Ingredients
1/2 cup Dukes Mayonnaise
2 tablespoons Ketchup
1 tablespoon white vinegar
2 teaspoons sugar
2 teaspoons bread & butter pickles chopped finely
1 teaspoon pickle juice (I use bread & butter pickle that I make)
1/8 tsp. fine onion powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
dash of black pepper
Stir, beating and mixing until very smooth.
Chill and serve.
**A few notes**:
You can of course use any mayonnaise, but here in the south especially South Carolina we do love our Duke's Mayonnaise. You can use sweet pickle or sweet pickle relish but homemade bread & butter pickles can't be beat. You can use a very finely chopped sweet or white onion but the onion powder mixes smoother and doesn't taste as strong when refrigerated.
