Pizza Easy With a Little Help

I don't make pizza much and have never made a crust until recently.  It is simply too easy to order them.  On this day I wanted to try to make it at home, I had my little ones here and they kept talking about pizza so I thought well, why not.

I used a King Arthur Recipe for the pizza crust that can be found here.  It was a very easy recipe, I changed one thing instead of using all-purpose flour I used King Arthur Bread Flour.  I had both flours but the bread flour was just sitting there so why not?

I had some Fratelli Carli Sugo All Arrabbiata Sauce.  It is a very flavorful sauce with anchovies and what I had on hand.  It was getting late so making the homemade crust was all I could handle so used quite a few helpers.

We most always have pepperoni around for using in sauces of all kinds.  These were in the freezer along with green bell peppers.  I found a can of Lindsay black olives the best by date was out as of last month.  I put in a call to them and was told that they would be good for 2 more years after the best by date!  Yay, for once someone said something could be used later.  I even used canned mushrooms that were in the pantry.

I used Mozzarella and sprinkled the top with Parmesan that was again what I had on hand.  We did enjoy this spur of the moment pizza with a little help from canned and frozen items.
I can't wait to make more with fresh ingredients.
This was pretty good and I sent some home with the family.  The pizza crust recipe makes 3-4 pizzas
.

One more ready to go into the oven!
This is one of the find a recipe and use what you have on hand meals.

Don't you just love King Arthur flours and recipes?  I know we sure do! This recipe
