You all probably know Penelope of Penelope Says. She has been with me here at Dolly is Cooking as a reviewer of recipes. As of January 19th she will have been here a year. Time does go quickly. Today she is sharing how she fried her chicken....
Ingredients
Fryer cut into pieces
Dry Buttermilk Powder
Salt
Pepper
Poultry Seasoning
Oil for frying
Electric Frying Pan
Paprika and flour to coat before frying
Instructions:
I used Dolly's instructions for frying chicken here
I seasoned with paprika and flour
She likes my recipe too so that makes me happy. I'm going to have to soak in the buttermilk mix myself now to taste the difference.
Ingredients

Electric Frying Pan
Paprika and flour to coat before frying
Instructions:
- Season cut up fryer with salt, pepper and poultry seasoning.
- Let chicken sit at room temperature for 30 minutes
- Mix powdered buttermilk mix with water according to directions. (you will need enough to cover chicken)
- Add chicken
- Soak for 1 1/2 hours in buttermilk mix
