Dill Sauce


Dill Sauce

Recipe

Sauce Ingredients

Butter 2 tablespoons
Flour 2 tablespoons
1 cup whole milk
Nutmeg a dash, salt & pepper to season
Dill fresh 1 teaspoon minced or 1/2 teaspoon dry dill weed



Medium Sauce

In a medium saucepan on medium heat:
Melt 2 tablespoon of butter
Add 2 tablespoon flour mixed with a dash of nutmeg
Stirring until mixed and heated through about a minute or so
Add 1 cup whole milk stirring until mixture begins to boil and thickens
Boiling and stirring 1 minute
Season with a little salt and white pepper to taste
Add dill and serve



This is great with fish
