Johnsonville Italian Meatballs

I found this recipe online using the ingredients listed in their recipe.  I did alter the way in which they were mixed a little but it worked quicker/easier for me.

Ingredients

1 package Johnsonville ground sweet Italian Sausage
1 egg
1/3 cup dry bread crumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup finely chopped onion

Recipe

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
In a large bowl combine all ingredients except sausage.  Using a fork mix beating egg and milk with ingredients well.
Add the sausage pulling into small pieces, mix thoroughly.
Shape into small meatballs approximately 20.  I used a 1" cookie scoop topped and rounded.
Bake for 20 minutes and add to your favorite sauce. (I baked these but in the future will fry them like I do my beef meatballs in the electric frying pan for a more flavorful taste).
They do have a good taste and I added them to my Quick Tomato Pasta Sauce Recipe.
The sauce is tart enough to carry these sweet Italian meatballs.

I like them!
I served mine with my Quick Tomato Pasta Sauce and it had just the amount of tartness to set these Sweet Italian Sausage Meatballs!

Enjoy!
