I thought that I would let your know that I just tried the liquid laundry detergent from this post:
This was the big batch not the 1 gallon recipe I have yet to use or make that one.
Review
While this detergent may be not expensive at all to make and quite simple, it does not meet my expectations. My whites did not come out clean and as a matter of fact some of the towels still had dirt on them when I took them out of the wash. They will have to be washed again. I had my little grandson over with me and we did some gardening so it was a good time to see how well this detergent would do.
I will not make this recipe again it is not good. It could be tweaked and improved. Of course you try it for yourself and see it may work just fine for you.
The remainder of mine will have some added cleaning ingredients. I will add Oxi-clean and bleach my whites if that doesn't do the trick.
