Are you ready for yet another Banana Pudding recipe? I'd seen this and many recipes and knew I'd make it one day. Here is the latest. Join me won't you.
Ingredients
Nilla Vanilla Wafers
Bananas - one bunch of 5 or so
1 Small Jello Instant Pudding
2 cups whole milk
1- 8 oz Cool Whip frozen then thawed.
1 cup sour cream
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Instructions
Make instant pudding with the milk according to directions, then add the sweetened condensed milk, sour cream and vanilla stirring or whisking together well. Take the Cool Whip and fold in gently.
You will need a large bowl because this makes quite a lot of pudding.
You will need a large bowl because this makes quite a lot of pudding.
Layer Nilla wafers, sliced bananas and top with pudding. Layer as many times as you can in that manner but be sure you have enough to top with pudding. You can garnish with cookies and banana slices if you wish.
Chill for at least 2 hours for best taste.
This recipe makes quite a lot I dare say you might get up to 15 servings.
This pudding is especially rich and delicious.
There is another recipe I would like to make that has cream cheese in it. If I am not Banana Pudding logged, whew that may be soon, then again I may need a break from this dessert.
We are still eating on this recipe and it is now the third day.
I have to say it holds up well!
Update! This pudding lasted a full week! Looked and tasted as good as the first day! Chuck was saving the last bit for me and I was saving it for him. Well after church today it was all he could do and he said,"You aren't going to eat this banana pudding?" I said ,"no I saved it for you." So he ate it down in a minutes time.!
Until next time,
Enjoy!
