Today I am sharing a friend of mine Heidi's Laundry Detergent recipes. I have used the Recipe #2 for the powdered detergent. It works really well and I intend to make her liquid recipe as well.
2 cups Borax
2 cups Super Washing Soda
1/4 cup Baking Soda
1 bar Zote soap
1 bar fels-naptha
Heidi's Liquid Detergent
Ingredients:
4 cups hot tap water
1 Lirio bar soap (Zote' or Fels-Naptha bar soap work too)
2 cups Arm and Hammer Super Washing Soda
1& 1/2 cups Borax
1 cup baking soda
2-3 Tbsp. vinegar (mix in slowly)
Tools:
Large saucepan
5 gallon bucket(s) with lid(s)
Long-handled spoon
Empty, clean laundry soap dispenser
Go to the link above to read the directions as to how to make this liquid detergent. I haven't made it yet but I do intend to. I'm sure it works well since Heidi uses it.
