The best thing about the holidays are the gathering of family and friends. Always, Always being thankful everyday for all of our blessing. Blessings that are too numerous to name.
I love soft, natural, floral arrangements. That type of arrangement sets the room with a relaxed, lovely atmosphere.
Setting the table with beautiful china. That is fun to me. Even casual family gatherings can be made a little more special with special little touches. They don't have to be elaborate, just pretty.
I love the Johnson Bros..Turkey Platters. One day I will find just the perfect vintage one. I do have some lovely platters and will use them...
Decorating can be fun. Special touches add to the occasion. A pretty table set to perfection can be beautiful: But the most important thing in my mind when planning a dinner is the meal.
You can do all of the above but if the food is tasteless or worse awful what will people remember?
The awful food you served. So make a fabulous meal. It doesn't have to be hard to make, simple delicious meals are always a plus.
